The ambience of this double-fronted house is stylish and airy. There is a delightful large farmhouse-style kitchen with original stone flagged floor. At the front overlooking the gardens and woodland, is the spacious and well furnished lounge, with an open Victorian marble fireplace. From the attractive central dining room, French windows open onto the terrace. On the first floor there are two large bedrooms - a master bedroom at the front with en-suite shower and toilet and a twin bedded room which has a separate, newly refurbished bathroom including a glorious central bath from which you can look out of a window to the garden and beyond.

Well behaved pets are welcome and there are lots of short and long safe dog walks around the area including our own private woodland accessible only from the cottages.
There are two good pubs nearby for food and drink and a village shop 1.5 miles away.Lake Windermere is just 4 miles away at Fell Foot Park (NT) .
