The property is superbly situated in its own extensive and mature grounds and located in the glorious landscape of the southern Lake District.
Owner David Hoyle has lovingly and impressively restored the Cartmel Fell vicarage to provide superior accommodation whilst retaining the building's traditional character. Each property is a gem to relax in and they feel like home-from-home with tv, radio, CD player, dvd/video and a great selection of books,games, music, films and maps.

The refurbishment of Danes Court is of a very high standard and guests comment on the tasteful decor and furnishings, with bold colour schemes throughout. Yet the houses are comfortable and homely, with a manager living on-site. The garden is available to all guests - it is large, very pleasant and well stocked with trees and shrubs. There is a sunny, south-facing terrace with outdoor furniture and barbeque whilst Danes Court also has its own outdoor area to the side.
